About My Vegan Kitchen
My Vegan Kitchen is a discovery website that curates interesting vegan foods and recipes. The recent growth in the vegan food market has meant that we are constantly coming across new food products and recipes. We created My Vegan Kitchen to be a platform to showcase the wide variety of new, innovative, artisan food brands and inspirational recipes.
For our users this means discovering new foods and recipes on a daily basis as well as the ability to save favourites into their very own ‘kitchen’ and share them with family and friends. Our members can add their own recommendations to the site, comment on foods and recipes and add their own media to the galleries. With the growth of direct to consumer, we will aim to provide links to the relevant online retail outlets.
Our vision for My Vegan Kitchen is to create a community for vegan foodies who love to find new foods and recipes and share their own findings to inspire others.
About Being Vegan
We think it’s important to define the ‘vegan’ in My Vegan Kitchen. We aim to inspire people to eat and cook without using any animal products. The site is about plant based food only. All people of all diets are welcome on the primary understanding that there will be no animal products recommended in any of the foods and recipes we publish.
We are Bob and Sarita Sheth, married entrepreneurs that started My Vegan Kitchen. Over the years, since becoming vegans, we have loved discovering new foods and recipes.
The site is part of a lifestyle business and born out of the realisation that so much of our social time was spent around food – thinking about it, eating it and sharing images of food and recipes with friends and family.
We also want to be part of the change we wish to see in the world. A planet that is less reliant on animals as a food source is crucial for it’s health and for the health of it’s population. So in a non judgemental and loving way we welcome all people including vegans, plant based followers, vegetarians and flexitarians.
